When the iZi Modular concept was launched in 2015, it quickly became a consumer-favourite and introduced a whole new approach to child car seat usage and purchase behaviour: seeing child car seats as connected with each other and buying whole concepts that would last from birth up to approx. 4 years.
In 2019 we gave the baby car seat from our iZi Modular concept an upgrade with three new features. Now in 2020, we are excited to bring the toddler seat to thenext level and are introducing: the iZi Modular X1 i-Size.

THE BESAFE DYNAMIC FORCE ABSORBER™
With the Dynamic Force Absorber™, the iZi Modular X1 i-Size features a new and state-of-the-art solution in the seat's headrest that gives optimal protection for the child's most vulnerable body part. It is made of special materials and a construction of different flex-zones, which optimally absorb forces in a side impact through bending in the inner area while staying more rigid in the outer areas.

THE BESAFE ERGO-MOVE SHOULDER PADS™
Based on insights from a German association for back-friendly products (Aktion Gesunder Rücken, AGR), we developed our new Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads™. They have a slimmer design and an extra curve where the child's shoulders are, giving the child extra movement space for their arms. The Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads™ also allow parents to access the shoulder belts inside the pads to check for potential belt slack.

SLIDE ON SIP+
To make attaching the SIP+ even easier and to prevent knocking it off, this new construction allows parents to simply and effortlessly slide the SIP+ onto the seat. This also ensures that the SIP+ is always placed at the right height. SIP+ is an additional safety feature that absorbs up to an additional 20% of forces on the child's head and neck in a side impact.
